A Gallery AB started in Gothenburg, Sweden, and has since developed and expanded. We have had two different locations in Gothenburg and now work as art advisors. Our goal is to help you build fantastic art collections and create meaningful art relationships.

In 1995, we took a big step by executing the art project with the official art portfolio for the World Championships in Athletics in Gothenburg. This portfolio showcased works by five talented Swedish artists: Helene Billgren, Ernst Billgren, Roland Borén, Håkan Carlsson, and Graham Stacy, with a preface written by Peter Dahl.

Between 1996 and 2010, we opened A Gallery at Tredje Långgatan 6 in Gothenburg. During these 15 years, we held nearly 100 exhibitions, mainly featuring Swedish modern artists.

From 2010 to 2014, we moved to a larger and more urban location at Sofierogatan 3 in Gothenburg. Here, we focused on showcasing exhibitions with international and contemporary artists.

From 2014 onwards, we have directed our activities towards art advisory, creating strong art relationships, and managing art projects. We are here to guide you through the world of art.

In 2018, we expanded further and opened new studios in Barcelona, Gothenburg, and Stockholm, providing us with a broader platform to work from.

In 2022, we initiated an exciting collaboration with David Franzen and Sotheby’s Scandinavia, which strengthens our position in the market.

In 2023, we launched Art Thinking Works, a think lab to explore and develop new ideas in the art world.
